I've been looking, but I can't find a good description of how posts propagate across the Fediverse. NNTP, I understand - messages propagate by a gossip protocol to every node that subcribes to a newsgroup. IPFS I understand - one big, sparsely replicated file system. But ActivityPub - post to the cloud means what, exactly? A pointer to a document that describes the routing protocol would be much appreciated.
