I'd like to participate in this conversation. Data portability is one of the topics I am most excited to make happen in the Fediverse. After the SocialWeb CG meeting would also work for me.

BTW: After reading one of Lisa's version for LOLA, I had the same intuition as Aaron (or maybe I misunderstood it): maybe this could be an external service to ActivityPub servers (that would likely lower the barrier for adoption?
