I like the way you get round to signing everything. Did some certain person say something about this being a necessary mechanism for assuring verifiable transfer. Now hit hit can we please design and implement a parallel (ideally isomorphic) file based approach so people can download their data too and then upload it later. It can be overall be signed by the source server and uploaded to the destination server at a later date. My reasoning in this is it could then be adopted by other non ActivityStreams 2 and extension based message protocol social media systems as a transfer standard. I really think putting this in place would be a linchpin to standardization of data transfer potentially for all social media systems.
