Luckily, ActivityPub and JSON-LD already provide a flexible, "open world"
environment that is very strongly extensible, and the FEP process shows
that developers can rapidly prototype new ideas and build freely in a
permissionless environment. ActivityPub is a strong, minimalist foundation
which many many implementors have already built upon successfully. There's
nothing here that would justify a new spec.
