I was pleased to see indieauth living standard mentioned:

https://indieauth.spec.indieweb.org/

It shows the viability of an open source living standard approach, with w3c
snapshots when necessary.  I like this solution because it solves the
objections surrounding diversity and inclusion in W3C Working Groups.
