Hi, I am Matthias Pfefferle, I just recently joined Automattic as Open Web Lead, working full time on ActivityPub für WordPress and to enable ActivityPub support for WordPress.com <http://wordpress.com/>. Besides of that, I maintain some other OpenWeb/IndieWeb/Fediverse plugins for WordPress and my main goal is to help people to maintain their own instance in the IndieWeb/Federated Social Web.

I am more the practical person and not much involved in the work on specs.

My main interest in participating is to

1) Making things easier to implement on shared hosting ends
2) Improving things, to keep up with different use cases or needs, that came up over time
