having "extension registries" is an idea also expressed by https://socialhub.activitypub.rocks/t/fep-1570-the-fep-ontology-process/2972/20 and https://socialhub.activitypub.rocks/t/fep-1570-the-fep-ontology-process/2972/33 -- these would be split by FEP so each proposal can define its own terms, and any conflicts are avoided. terms can later be promoted into any other vocabulary once they reach common usage. as expressed previously, the base iri here is w3id.org/fep but a similar plan can be applied to any other purl service / git repo preview.
