Re: [Cool URIs] WD 2007-12-17

Hi Christoph,

I want to especially thank you for your valuable feedback and the time
you invested,
your detailed comments did improve the document.

we closed our round of reviews for the 20071217 version of "cool uris"
and incorporated feedback.
The feedback and resolved issues are here:
https://gnowsis.opendfki.de/repos/gnowsis/papers/2006_11_concepturi/feedback/index.htm

After another telco with TAG, we will publish a last-call working draft.

The current version of the editors draft is here:
https://gnowsis.opendfki.de/repos/gnowsis/papers/2006_11_concepturi/html/cooluris_sweo_note.html

below the answers to your feedback,

There is one open issue which we couldn't address, copied here for your
attention:

  > 4.5. Linking
 > "|<link />| element", "|<link>| element" (in diagram) -> "|link| element"

 we cannot replicate this, it seems you want something bold-faced...
 we will not change the graphic now, unless you object strongly.

here is the rest:

 It was Christoph Päper who said at the right time 19.12.2007 02:18 the
 following words:

 done.

 done, thx!

 changed to "The 303...". This makes it coherent without much change.

 > 4.2. 303 URIs
 > - "“303 See Other”" Remove quotation marks here, but decide whether to
 > use typographic or typewriter style in general (also for apostrophes).

 using <tt> and removed the ""

 > 4.3. Choosing between 303 and Hash
 > "http://www.example.com/about# product456" Excess space after hash

 done, changed to bob and alice.

 > 4.5. Linking
 > "|<link />| element", "|<link>| element" (in diagram) -> "|link| element"

 we cannot replicate this, it seems you want something bold-faced...
 we will not change the graphic now, unless you object strongly.

 changed to "several thousand", not to overstress the fact how much it
rocks...

 thx! a much "cooler uri", also.

 done.

 replaced by "described by name,.."

 ignored, the international aspect can be neglected,
 it is a good example and I also have a social securty number (but am
European...).
 Its culturally independent and good to grasp.

 > 8. Acknowledgements

 both are from Tag, replaced with:
 Stuart Williams and Norman Walsh from TAG

 > "AAstrand" -> "Åstrand", probably.

 its AAstrand, I just asked him :-) (he sits opposite of me at office)

 done

 hm, nah. that abbreviation may help, but its more precise as is.

 replaced "e-mail" which was used once.

 changed to a mixture of this and
