I am not sure if you are still interested in SKOS use cases but I have been making a "Minimum Information About Anatomy CV" that covers all organisms and the relationship between levels is "broader" as this is adequately vague and carries no inheritance implications The anatomical terms in the MIAA CV include synonyms to all the equivalent terms in the 20 or so anatomy ontologies currently available at OBO (www.obofoundry.org) The standard OBO format is (not surprisingly) .obo as this is easy to read - the version attached below is in OWL and there is also a brief introductory pdf with some screendumps I am not sure that I have properly answered your questionnaire - but I am more of a biologist than a computer scientist (I haven't programmed for 27 years .........) Get back to me if you want any further information Jonathan Bard -------------------------------------------------------- Professor Jonathan Bard 45 Charlbury Road Oxford OX2 6UX +44/0-1865-315185 j.bard@ed.ac.uk
