Dear all

Attached you can find the first draft of a Visual Descriptor Ontology
implemented in IVML-NTUA. It is written in OWL (using Protégé) and provides
the semantics of MPEG-7 visual descriptors. The goal was to include all the
hidden semantic information given in MPEG-7 XML version of Visual
Descriptors, but also in their MPEG-7 documentation.

Now, we write a description for the VDO (very soon it will be available from
our site). We send the first version as we promised in the previous MM TF
teleconf in order to be able to use it in the ‘Semantic Web Image Annotation
Interoperability’ deliverable.

Looking forward to your comments

Regards,

Giorgos
