What needs to happen is to extract the key ideas from these papers, from
the perspective of identifying fodder for possible use cases for the
SI&I note. It would take me quite a while to pour over those papers and
do this.
 
Given you are very familiar with some examples of using DLs for semantic
integration, could you please have a go?
Then Chris and I will adapt the ideas and fit them into the note.  Ideal
would be up to a few pages of text with a few example highlighting the
key ideas.
