Alan, Chris, I've read through the draft, As far as I'm concerned all issues have been addressed adequately. My only worry is with the use of the abstract syntax. First, the reference is in the list at the end, but not in the running text. Second, I think the abstract syntax reads well, but some minimal explanation is needed. In particular, you'll have to explain the "partial/complete" distinction, which will not be obvious to most non-insiders. You will also have to mention the mixing of abstract syntax and Turtle. Maybe add a short section on "syntax used".
