For review. -------- Original Message -------- Subject: CSS Variables in Last Call Date: Wed, 24 Jul 2013 15:26:44 -0400 From: Philippe Le Hegaret <plh@w3.org> Organization: World Wide Web Consortium To: chairs <chairs@w3.org> CC: Cameron McCormack <cam@mcc.id.au>, ed@opera.com, Daniel Glazman <daniel.glazman@disruptive-innovations.com>, Peter Linss <peter.linss@hp.com>, tabatkins <tabatkins@google.com> It appears that I forgot to send the Last Call announcement for this draft... CSS Custom Properties for Cascading Variables Module Level 1 http://www.w3.org/TR/2013/WD-css-variables-1-20130620/ All persons are encouraged to review this document and send comments to the www-style mailing list. When sending e-mail, please put the text “css-variables” in the subject, preferably like this: “[css-variables] … summary of comment…” Comments would be appreciated by September 4, 2013. (ignore the July 18 date on the draft). This module introduces cascading variables as a new primitive value type that is accepted by all CSS properties, and custom properties for defining them. CSS is a language for describing the rendering of structured documents (such as HTML and XML) on screen, on paper, in speech, etc. The SVG Working Group is likely a good candidate for looking at the document. No formal objection. No known disclosures http://www.w3.org/2004/01/pp-impl/32061/status Philippe
