Hi, A few SVG 2 updates: * I've refreshed the SVG 2 Changes appendix to list the changes since SVG 1.1 Second Edition: https://svgwg.org/svg2-draft/changes.html When you make some changes to the document please list them there, so that someone doesn't need to go back through the repository history once it comes time to publish. * I've fixed the styling of the Table of Contents (in index.html as well as each chapter) and of the header/footer that appears in each chapter. (They'd both become a bit broken.) * I've moved old editors of the document to the Acknowledgements section and just left people who have made edits to SVG 2 so far. When you make your first edit to the document, please move/add your name up the top. * I've reworded the Status of this Document section a little so that it talks about SVG 2 rather than SVG 1.1. * I've done a bunch of cleanup of the markup in the source files so that it should be easier to edit. (This is basically just a continuation of the same work I was doing in the 1.1 Second Edition timeframe.) I'd ask people to be mindful of the markup formatting that's in the files currently and make sure to use the same when you add text. Also, please try to avoid adding tabs to the files. :) I will try to get commits to get sent as mails to this list like changes to the CVS repository do. As I've been tweaking the markup and formatting, I've been making some changes to the publication scripts, so please make sure to update your local svg2-tools/ checkout before building locally. In fact I've changed the Makefile in svg2/ to check that your svg2-tools/ is up-to-date, so if you run "make" it'll do this check before proceeding to build. (If you type "make all" it will skip that check, in case you ever have to do that.) And please try to build locally before committing your changes, to make sure they are correct! Thanks, Cameron
