Hello svg-wg, we agreed in the telcon last week[1] to "freeze" the SVG 1.1 testsuite at the end of September, 2010. This is so that we can start producing the implementation report which is needed for SVG 1.1 Second Edition. What this means is that we'll compile a list of the accepted tests, and start testing implementations against this set of tests. We will not include draft tests in the implementation report, only tests that have been reviewed and accepted by the WG, and if it's possible we might limit the report to include only the new(or changed) tests since the 2006 testsuite release. Tests that are needed for testing changes in the second edition spec should be prioritized for review, I'll send out the list of the tests that are in need of review shortly (ACTION-2872). Note: this is not to discourage test submissions, but we need a deadline for finishing in time for the TPAC meeting. Nothing prevents us from adding to the testsuite over time, and there will no doubt be future releases of the SVG testsuite.
