Hi Andrew,

After I discovered how badly my demo at SVG Open needed some sort of 'z-index'
facility I'm glad to see some traction on this. I have two other people at
Mozilla that I'd like to take part in this conversation but can't subscribe to
this list. Did you specifically want to discuss things on the WG list, or would
you mind resend your email to www-svg so that we can discuss it there?

I also have my own different proposal mostly written up, and I'll post that as
soon as I can.
