Request to review Media Fragments UC&R. ----- Forwarded message from Raphaël Troncy <Raphael.Troncy@cwi.nl> ----- From: Raphaël Troncy <Raphael.Troncy@cwi.nl> Date: Thu, 13 Aug 2009 20:35:54 +0200 To: Hypertext CG <w3c-html-cg@w3.org> CC: Erik Mannens <erik.mannens@ugent.be> Subject: Media Fragments WG status Organization: CWI Archived-At: <http://www.w3.org/mid/4A845D0A.8010202@cwi.nl> Dear HCG, We have resumed this week our weekly teleconference after nearly a month of summer break where few participants could make it. The WG has simplified slightly its syntax, and at the same time, is currently approving a number of test cases that we will use to assess future implementations. We are still looking for comments for our FPWD: "Use cases and requirements for Media Fragments" available at: http://www.w3.org/TR/media-frags-reqs which actually contains more than just UC, but already bits of the future spec. In particular, the Media Fragments WG would like to get feedback from the following groups that belong to HCG: SYMM, SVG, HTML5, MAWG and TimedText. Chris Wilson and Sam Ruby said during the 19/06/2009 HCG telecon [1] that they will check with the HTML5 and WHATWG whether they have comments or not on the current document. Is there any update? What about the other WGs? We plan to publish a second set of WD documents in September. Best regards.
