Hello SVG Team, The draft IEC 61850-6-2 International Standard is progressing and we are close to finalizing the namespace and schema aspects. We have decided on three namespaces with three corresponding schemas. 1. SVG2.0 - We have adopted SVG2.0 as basis for our graphical language. **We will develop an SVG2.0 schema.** 2. GCL - Graphical Configuration language with IEC 61850-6-2 specific extensions that tie into SVG for styling/formatting. We will develop an GCL schema. 3. HCL - HMI Configuration language with binding mechanisms to IEC 61850's System Configuration Language (not relevant to SVG). We will develop an HCL schema. See attached diagrams that visualize this. We have the following questions: 1. When do you expect SVG2.0 to be an official w3c recommendation? 2. Do you believe the SVG2.0 is stable/mature enough for us to define an SVG2.0 schema? 3. When do you expect the test suites/conformance testing requirements to be available? 4. When can we expect browsers to claim support for SVG2.0? 5. Are there any volunteers to assist us in defining the SVG2.0 schema?
