@AmeliaBR > Some clarifications in the OpenType spec would definitely help, and we definitely need to do something about the final paragraph of that section that links to SVG 2 for values which are not currently defined in SVG 2. Anyone have any connections for updating that spec? Yes, it is updated by sending a request for changes to ISO/IEC SC29 WG11, which maintains the Open Font Format standard. OpenType is an exact copy of OFF (with a trademarked name, `OpenType`). Before doing that though we should get the SVG2 spec into a correct state, and be sure that SVG2 and CSS Fonts 4 between them cleanly describe what happens. Then we can ask WG11 to refer to our spec wording. -- GitHub Notification of comment by svgeesus Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/svgwg/issues/421#issuecomment-389982478 using your GitHub account
