@bzbarsky, I guess "If V is a platform object that implements the interface for which O is the interface prototype object, return true" is the relevant bit here? That's interesting, I had no idea that was ever intended to work, or indeed that it did work in Gecko. In any case, the goal of "things on the right-hand side of an "implements" statement are always [NoInterfaceObject] interfaces" is clearly a good one, and before this issue I assumed that it was already so, or otherwise a mistake. As for compat, I think https://github.com/w3c/svgwg/issues/291#issuecomment-254930687 has a good chance of working out.
