> This means that 'transparent' really means transparent black in SVG. It is equivalent to stop-color='black' and stop-opacity='0'. It was obviously not discussed whether to special case `transparent` to create two color stops as [mentioned earlier](https://github.com/w3c/svgwg/issues/180#issuecomment-229258021) interpolating with the previous and next stops.
