Hi all, Je suis en train de pratiquer mon français! Cependent, je suppose que mon accent sera "muy" évident, sans parler de mon choix de mots. I am very excited that we'll be in Paris! I like Manuel's suggestion for a claim, but agree that it may be too specific. Maybe something similar like "On browsers everywhere" or "It's everywhere now." I could see some animation that translates the word "everywhere" into a zillion different languages, using some text->path->SMIL stuff to morph it as it translates. Sign me up for both the organizing committee (hopefully my follow through in final weeks will be better this time around) and for the reviewing committee. Cheers David -----Original Message----- From: public-svg-ig-request@w3.org [mailto:public-svg-ig-request@w3.org] On Behalf Of Manuel Strehl Sent: Tuesday, December 15, 2009 4:23 PM To: SVG IG List Subject: Re: SVG Open 2010 - Conference Claim Hi Andreas, first of all thank you for organizing the next SVG Open! What have been the claims for 2008 and before? Perhaps that could serve as an inspiration source. I guess something like "Finally on Your Browser" is too specific to a single application? Cheers, Manuel PS: For everyone seeing the announcement for the first time: The next SVG Open are in Paris, France, from Aug 30 to Sep 02 according to this page: https://www.svgopen.org/20xx/participate.shtml Andreas Neumann schrieb: > Hi all, > > We are preparing the SVG Open 2010 Homepage and the Call for Papers. > > In 2009 we had the claim "SVG coming of age ..." - any idea for a > claim in 2010? > > Thanks, > Andreas >
