Joanie and Amelia, Please look at the test cases in this section Empty aria-describedby testable statements. I copied what was the last test, which Joanie proposed had a problem and I created the last two tests from it. The issue Joanie raised was if you have an empty aria-describedby with nothing else to qualify the element's inclusion in the accessibility tree, wouldn't that element not be in the accessibility tree? The last test has been changed to say that a element with only the aria-describedby qualifying it for inclusion in the accessibility tree would not be in the accessibility tree if the aria-describedby is empty. The second to last test has an element that will be in the accessibility tree regardless of description. This will be a topic on the Tuesday SVG accessibility call, but I wanted to get feedback, before I copy stuff around that will be nuked or need chasing down editing later. Also, Amelia I am at a loss as what to do with the task find ambiguous stuff in the SVG spec. Since you can do brain dead stuff like put action listeners on linear gradients it seems like finding ambiguous stuff in SVG is attacking the spec problem with a pea shooter when you still need to using hand grenades.
