Hi Michael,
A few months ago a wrote an article on future proposals for SPARQL 1.2.
The article introduces the Northwind sample database where you can execute SQL and SPARQL queries side-by-side, which I believe it can be very useful to this community when it comes to making new proposal and/or validating features that already exist in SQL.
