Solid Community invitation to Rebooting Web of Trust 9 (Prague)

Dear Solid Community,

I'd like to informally kick off the activity of the newly formed Solid
Project External Interop and Outreach Panel
<https://github.com/solid/culture/blob/master/panels.md#external-interop-and-outreach-panel>
by inviting you all to the upcoming Rebooting Web of Trust conference
<https://www.weboftrust.info/> (number 9, held in Prague, this coming Sept
3-6th 2019).

The Rebooting Web of Trust (RWoT for short) community is very much focused
on topics of interest to the Solid community, including decentralized
identity, authentication, authorization, trust and reputation systems,
verifiable credentials, and much more. And so I feel that any of you that
can make it would fit right in, be able to bring a unique perspective to
the conversation, and in general it would be worth your while.

(In fact, aside from myself, our very own Solid Manager, Mitzi László,
attended this past RWoT 8 in Barcelona, so feel free to reach out to her
for impressions and opinions on the conference.)

RWoT is an "un-conference", and is unusual among such events in that it
solely focuses on collaborating on and publishing papers during the 2-3 day
period, ranging from technical specs to thought pieces. The conference even
provides a significant discount for tickets if you submit a paper proposal
before the conference, see the EventBrite page for details:

https://www.eventbrite.com/e/rebooting-the-web-of-trust-ix-2019b-prague-tickets-63443365815

Even if you can't attend, I highly encourage you to read through the
preliminary paper drafts that are starting to come in, over at its GitHub
repo: https://github.com/WebOfTrustInfo/rwot9-prague (in the Topics and
Advance Readings
<https://github.com/WebOfTrustInfo/rwot9-prague/tree/master/topics-and-advance-readings>
folder).

There is also a RWoT Discourse Forum
<https://weboftrustinfo.discourse.group/> that you can participate in.

Some topics that will be discussed (or continued from previous) at this
upcoming conference will include:

* Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs), and especially their implementations on
non-blockchain platforms
* Verifiable Credentials and Decentralized Key Management
* Data Hubs and Agent protocols (what would be called Pods in Solid
parlance)

Please feel free to reach out to me on Gitter or by email if you have any
questions or thoughts regarding this.
