Thanks so much for your leadership to this point, Lloyd. As I said in the meeting, it's great that you have new contracts, even if you can't help us quite as much.  I'm glad to hear you plan to participate as possible.  Much gratitude to elf for taking it from here.

I don't know that I need to do anything 'official' to declare elf the new chair of the Vocabulary TF.  Does anyone object?  (I'd sure be surprised if anyone did!)  I suggest you just change the names in the wiki and call it good.

Now ... doodle poll, select User Stories to help resolve, and let's get further on the vocabularies!

Elf,

Please do take up the baton as the Vocabulary TF chair. Thank you for your energy and real work that you've been contributing for a while now, especially and of course in the Vocabulary area.  Ann can you send an e-mail out as the Chair making it 'official'?

As I mentioned in the call this morning, my time is getting taken up by some new recruiting contracts and I won't be able to contribute to the between phone call work in particular as much as I would like.  I do plan on being in as many calls as I can as I believe vocabularies will have a central enabling role in career management and staffing. I do believe W3C has the best chance of getting a standard out for that function and very much want to stay in the loop on it.

IMO we can, or even should, work on that all together and don't need a
dedicated TF. If at some point we find need for one, we can always start it.

IMO we all should pay attention to coordinating our work with other
groups doing relevant work. Actually I would find it much more
beneficial that in each of two active task forces someone takes Liaison
responsibility.

This way we could get in rhythm of meeting every week
* General IG telecon - every 2 weeks
* TF telecon - every 2 weeks, Use Case and Vocabulary alternating

What do you think?

If Lloyd will decide that he can't take responsibility of Vocabulary TF
Chair. I can step up and re-prioritize my work to have capacity to
become more active in it. Tomorrow I will put some time towards
reworking TF wiki page. This way Amy, Lynn, Jason and everyone else who
wants to engage in Vocabulary work, will have better entry point.
