RE: Schema files for current draft for use by COSMOS

The smlif.xsd you attached seems to be correct but the sml.xsd seems a bit old (it does not have some of the recent changes). You may want to check if you used the latest editors' draft.

If you have sml spec build environment set up, you can build the 'publication' target to get the latest schemas from the build/ns dir.

Subject: Schema files for current draft for use by COSMOS

Hello,

I am wanting to keep the COSMOS implementation of an SML validator current wrt the spec. We will have an iteration build next week, and I need to include schema files in our CVS repository that match the features we are supporting. And I will need to be able to reference specific files in order to get legal approval to make the checkins.

Are these attached schemas what we currently expect the build process to produce when we issue the Last Call drafts again, presumably in the next few weeks? If the LC draft schemas end up being different, we will need to refresh the COSMOS copies, we realize, but the iteration builds are on a fixed schedule. (Yesterday I build these by copying the text from the current editor's draft and replaced the @@@@/@@ characters with 2008/09 dates.)

Thanks in advance,
David
