Colleagues:

We've not said much recently about the Challenges with Conformance document,
but that's only because we've been very busy revising and updating the text,
based on the feedback we received in the survey, and to address the issues
raised to date.

There's still a little markup and cleanup work to do before we go to another
AGWG publication survey, but we think the content is close enough now that we
would request your pre-survey review.

Here are the highlights of what's changed:

* We believe we've addressed all comments both from github issues and from
     the former survey in the document's text;

* The long list of SC challenges under Challenge #1 has now been moved to
     an Appendix;

* Another Appendix has been created to discuss over a dozen examples of
     Challenge #4.

The draft to review is here:

https://raw.githack.com/w3c/wcag/conformance-challenges-redesign1/conformance-challenges/index.html

We're eager to hear from you whether you believe our content has sufficiently
addressed the concerns raised to date and is mature enough for an AGWG survey
and teleconference discussion on the 25th as provisionally calendered.

Regards,

Peter and Janina
