Charles: We have identified problem areas based on the research
that we are addressing with individual problem testing

Charles: You are conformant only when the the test is done.

Jemma: How do major organizations handle conformance?

Jennsion: It's complicated. Different products may all be
represented on one page, and one product could be more
    conformant than another.
... we will also have external vendors help us out with audits
... Keep in mind, that we don't have to have conformance
sections anymore by W3C process requirements.
... I think that we do need to have some conformance, because
    of legal and regulatory reasons.

Jemma: Organizations and different types of tech need a way to
    declare conformance

Kelsey: Isn't it only non-government organizations that are
    required to conform?

Charles: It depends on the location. Accessibility is a human
    right.
... there is a large number of lawsuits against businesses in
    the US right now.
... the cost is mostly the cost of litigation rather than
    making the actual site accessible.

Jeanne: I think we also need a problem statement for percentage
    compliance.

Jemma: I think that is part of Accessibility Supported

Charles: It could be, but it is different from Accessibility
    Supported.

Jeanne: If we are going to merge it, I think it belongs more
with evolving technology, but I think it needs to be its own
    issue.
... WE willl continue on Friday.
