This is accurate as-is and a sufficient introduction: “A Job Story is a framework for use-centered design that focuses on the task(s) to complete or jobs to be done.” However, for the potential audiences of this document at this location, I believe it would be appropriate to justify this methodology by comparison. Perhaps something like this: “In user-centered design, key artifacts of Personas and User Stories advise design solutions by focusing on a specific user or user segment. This process can unintentionally be exclusive. A more inclusive methodology is use-centered design, which focuses instead on the task(s) to complete or jobs-to-be-done – regardless of or agnostic to the specific user or user segment. In other words, inherently all users. A Job Story is a framework of use-centered design that identifies a situation, motivation and expectation.” Thanks, Charles Hall UX Architect, Technology t / 248.203.8723 m / 248.225.8179 e / charles.hall@mrm-mccann.com skype / charles.h.all 360 W Maple, Birmingham MI 48009 w / www.mrm-mccann.com [cid:image001.png@01D3A4A5.3E4673C0] Creativity. Please take a look at the Abstract and Introduction and make sure I have explained it thoroughly for someone who is not familiar with the Silver project or what a job story is. Additional suggestions are welcome. https://www.w3.org/community/silver/stakeholder-job-stories/ jeanne This message contains information which may be confidential and privileged.
