After various requests I have just added support for the SHACL Compact Syntax to the open source API (snaoshot at https://github.com/TopQuadrant/shacl). The Compact Syntax was already supported by TopBraid Composer for a while. You can find a quick tutorial at https://www.topquadrant.com/technology/shacl/shacl-compact-syntax-quick-tutorial/ The syntax doesn't have complete coverage of SHACL but could be attractive to quickly capture or draft shape definitions if you don't need things like comments and labels, or complex constraints. The latest spec (still unchanged from the draft that was "almost" published at the end of the official data-shapes WG), can be found here: https://w3c.github.io/shacl/shacl-compact-syntax/ The spec lives under the umbrella of this SHACL Community Group, and if there is enough interest we could evolve it further to cover more use cases etc. Let me know if you have any feedback. Regards, Holger
