AW: First publication of the CG

Hi Fernando
I’m a bit confused now, do we edit the google drive or the overleaf document now?
They are not synced, are they?
I think it’s safer to have only one editable doxument.
Regards,
Felix

Hello,

If you open the document now, you will see a link to a preview of the latex and pdf versions. There is also a PDF of the current version in the google drive folder. Please, don't share that link on the mailing list yet.

There are still many things to improve and add, so I used the template for the next conference on the list (TSD2015, http://www.kiv.zcu.cz/tsd2015/index.php?page=submissions). I will add the rest of my parts as soon as possible.

Cheers!

Hello Fernando, all,

I am so sorry that my contribution is so limited the past few days but I happen to travel a lot these days.
I will try to have a look again tomorrow but in any way, we succeeded un gathering a first draft.
So, we definitely have either for this workshop or the next in line..

Regards,
Michael.

Dear all,
Please, take a look at the current state of the document. There are many things still missing, as you will see. The general idea of the paper is this: boom in sentiment analysis -> need for standards -> review of current approach -> LD would improve upon this -> how LD would be used in certain use cases -> review of formats/models that could be used as a foundation for a unified LD model -> future work and conclusions
Obviously, this structure could change to give it a different flow, but I believe the content would stay more or less the same.
Before adding more content, this is a summary of the pending contributions:

 * @Felix: ~1 page about EmotionML and maybe some hints on how it would fit in a LD scenario
 *   @me: NIF
 * @me or anyone from EuroSentiment: use case
 * @me or someone from MixedEmotions: use case

To be honest, I tend to assign more stuff to myself than I should, so if you think you can contribute in some of those sections, feel free to claim it or start writing.

Also, we could really use a section about terminological issues and the distinction between feelings, emotions, sentiment, mood... Considering it is less of a technical/technological topic, maybe one of the less technical people could start it and someone then join to add a more technical perspective.

Any suggestions or ideas?

Cheers!

Hello all,
I also added two more relevant conferences and add more during the day.
One is mainly focused on language technologies and the other is looking for a wider area of those in Qatar and I am probably visiting it.

Michael Petychakis.

Dear all,
Time to start the long overdue discussion. I'm sure you know many conferences, so I will start only with some whose deadline are approaching:

 * ASIR'15 : probably a good fit, among their topics they list "Models for document representation."

    *   Deadline 24 April
    *   Lodz, Poland
    *    https://fedcsis.org/asir

 * ASONAM'15: focus on social network analysis, I might consider submitting here an application that uses NIF in social network analysis - Social Network Analysis

    *   Deadline 17 April
    *   Paris
    *   http://asonam.cpsc.ucalgary.ca/2015/

 *   Semantics 2015 : maybe it's too business-oriented for our possible contribution

    *   Deadline 22 May
    *   Vienna
    *   http://www.semantics.cc/

To keep the discussion organised, I've also created a google spreadsheet for the candidates. Please, add your proposals there too: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1A3lPTi5ZHEcJKliTXW0b0Se0R60Ld5TIMJOTLO4au3M/edit?usp=sharing

What do you think?

Regards!
