Hi Everyone, It has been a long time since the UniProt RDF was first announced on this list in 2004 [1]. UniProt RDF has been found very useful indeed and we have a nice number of users internal and external. We recently passed a big milestone with our public sparql endpoint[2] and now have more than 105 billion triples for you to query. A milestone that we never expected to reach. Yet as more and more biological data is provided the unique capabilities that sparql gives our community is more and more valuable. The ever increasing number of federated queries show that we really are a community and not just a single node. With best regards for the UniProt team, Jerven Bolleman, [1] https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-semweb-lifesci/2004Jul/0015.html [2] https://sparql.uniprot.org -- *Jerven Tjalling Bolleman* Principal Software Developer *SIB | Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics* 1, rue Michel Servet - CH 1211 Geneva 4 - Switzerland t +41 22 379 58 85 Jerven.Bolleman@sib.swiss - www.sib.swiss
