I have opened a position in my team for a Knowledge Integration Engineer. 

The Knowledge Integration Engineer will be a key leader in driving the
development and realization of Merck’s data platform vision. They will
work in an agile manner to perform pilot and proof of concept
experiements to select the best mix of technologies to successfully
implement and refine a data platform that will drive data discovery,
integration, analytics and publication. 

  * Revolutionize healthcare informatics by making our data
    discoverable, understandable and computable 
  * Test commercial solutions, open-source solutions and bespoke
    approaches against use cases and business requirements to determine
    the best approach for delivery of our data platform 
  * Work with software and database engineers to deliver the optimal
    data platform 
  * Work with business analysts, scientists and engineers to understand
    the various conceptual models that are being used and tested and to
    help them refine these models to best suit their requirements and
    the system architecture 
  * Apply machine learning, semantics and statistical inference to
    enhance the information contained in the data platform and to
    improve its interoperability 
  * Help define and document standards for system and data interoperability 
  * Provide day-to-day leadership for the best practices in Big Data and
    Enterprise Integration patterns
