Re: HCLS SciDiscourse call Monday January 23, 2012, Use Case overview

Dear all,

With relevance to Use Case 2 - generic metadata, Tanya has removed all
the infectious disease specific metadata from MIIDI, the Minimal
Information for an Infectious Disease Ontology, to create a generic
minimal information specification that we're calling MIBIO, that
contains a 'stub' onto which people can attach new domain-specific stuff
for their own needs. Attached is a screen shot of the MIBIO data model.

The MIBIO schema is available at:
https://raw.github.com/miidi/miidi/master/xsd/mibio.xsd, and the
Web-based MIBIO metadata editor/input form is available at
http://www.miidi.org:8080/mibio. However, please note that the input
form is not in a usable state at the moment - there is a problem with
the behaviour of the tabs and the repeat buttons that Tanya needs to fix.

Talk to you soon,

David
