Dear Colleagues

Monday Sept 12, we restart the biweekly Scientific Discourse concall series after  our summer break.  

The agenda will have two main points:

1 - the new HCLS charter

Charlie Mead of the NCI Bioinformatics Center, one of our three new co-chairs, will summarize the new HCLS Charter

2 - proposed joint project of Scientific Discourse and BioRDF Tasks

Scott Marshall will present a potential project to combine work from BioRDF and SciDiscourse in the form of a workflow that produces differentially expressed gene assertions in RDF.

I personally think this could be very useful work for a number of reasons, and hope this will be only the first of several proposals for project-type work involving Sci Discourse people for the coming year.
