employment opportunity

The SWAN project is expanding.

We are looking for:

(1) an experienced software professional with a deep understanding of
semantic web principles and practice, and expert level proficiency in
JAVA, JavaScript, and related frameworks.

(2) an experienced web development professional with strong user
interface design sense, CSS, and familiarity with Drupal and/or other
CMS.

This is an opportunity to become part of a strong interdisciplinary
team which has established a leadership position in biomedical web-
based collaboratories, and in semantic knowledgebases for biomedical
researchers. SWAN is a collaboration of the Massachusetts General
Hospital and the Alzheimer Research Forum. Our team works closely
with world-class researchers in Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and other
neurodegenerative disorders, as well as leading researchers in brain
imaging.

Our work plays a critical role in both advancing the state of semantic
web practice, and in contributing to the search for cures to
devastating diseases.
