The SWAN project is expanding. We are looking for: (1) an experienced software professional with a deep understanding of semantic web principles and practice, and expert level proficiency in JAVA, JavaScript, and related frameworks. (2) an experienced web development professional with strong user interface design sense, CSS, and familiarity with Drupal and/or other CMS. This is an opportunity to become part of a strong interdisciplinary team which has established a leadership position in biomedical web- based collaboratories, and in semantic knowledgebases for biomedical researchers. SWAN is a collaboration of the Massachusetts General Hospital and the Alzheimer Research Forum. Our team works closely with world-class researchers in Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and other neurodegenerative disorders, as well as leading researchers in brain imaging. Our work plays a critical role in both advancing the state of semantic web practice, and in contributing to the search for cures to devastating diseases.
