If you don't agree with what e.g. UniProt considers sameAs, your tools should allow you to treat these statements as seeAlso (and vice versa)! P.S. "When a request is given to the server for a description of the URI, an HTTP 303 redirect is issued to one of two locations, depending on the accept headers sent by the client. If the requested content is application/rdf+xml then the server will generate an RDF description detailing the properties of the requested URI [...] However, if the accept header is set to text/html then a 303 See Other is returned identifying an html description [...]" Sounds like a good approach ;-)
