Re-joining Second Screen WG

Hi Second Screen WG participants,

As communicated earlier, this group has been rechartered recently. To remain a participant and be able to contribute, you need to re-join by 8 May 2022.

Many of you have already re-joined, thank you!

You can find your current status from: https://www.w3.org/groups/wg/secondscreen/participants

If you see a yellow exclamation mark next to your name, it means you should ping your AC rep who will re-join you. You’ll find your AC rep contact information from: https://www.w3.org/Member/ACList

Thanks,

-Anssi (Second Screen WG co-chair)

Dear Advisory Committee Representative,
[This announcement will be forwarded to W3C group chairs]

The Director is pleased to announce the rechartering of the Second Screen Working Group:
    https://www.w3.org/2022/03/charter-secondscreen-wg.html

The group is chartered through 31 January 2024. The mission of the Second Screen Working Group is to provide specifications that enable web pages to use secondary screens and presentation displays to display web content.

Please use the following form to join or re-join the group. The form will also instruct you how to nominate participants:
   https://www.w3.org/groups/wg/secondscreen/join

If your organization is currently in the group, please note that you will need to have it re-join the group as the scope was extended to cover the new Multi-Screen Window Placement API deliverable. This Call for Participation triggers the start of the 45 days grace period. See:
https://www.w3.org/2003/12/22-pp-faq.html#recharter

Please consider diversity when proposing people to participate in W3C groups. Representation from a wider group of people, especially people from under-represented groups, is vital for creating web standards that meet the needs of the wider web community.

The Working Group chairs are Louay Bassbouss (Fraunhofer Gesellschaft) and Anssi Kostiainen (Intel). Team contact will be François Daoust (for 0.10 FTE).

More information about the Second Screen Working Group can be found on its homepage:
