Dear Advisory Committee Representative,
Spatial Data on the Web Interest Group Participants,

The Spatial Data on the Web Interest Group [1] is now closed.

The mission of the group was to (1) develop and maintain vocabularies
and best practices that encourage better sharing of spatial data on the
web and (2) identify areas where standards should be developed jointly
by both W3C and OGC.

The work continues in the Spatial Data on the Web Working Group [2].

W3C thanks the group’s Chairs, Linda van den Brink (Geonovum), Jeremy
Tandy (Met Office) and all the participants in the group for their efforts.

If you have any further questions, please contact Bert Bos <bert@w3.org>.

This announcement follows section 5.2.7 of the Process Document:

Thank you,

For Tim Berners-Lee, Director,
Wendy Seltzer, Strategy Lead;
Xueyuan Jia, W3C Marketing & Communications
