Re: minutes of SDWIG 2020-05-28

Dear All,

Apologies here too, I was recovering from surgery and didn't think an 11pm call was the best idea __

(numbering for topics mentioned by Chris)

1. +1 to a single WG too. Note: I'm not sure I'm fully across what the requirements of a WG are when compared with an IG. @Ted Guild, could you refresh my memory? I believe it lets us publish Notes and such, so I expect there's a bit more rigour around our activities as a result of that?

4. +1 to meet every 4 weeks

(adding)

5. On the topic of GeoSPARQL, who else is interested in the update of that standard? We'd be very interested in getting your feedback on both the White Paper and Charter, as well as gauging your interest in participating in the SWG should it go forward. @Bill Roberts, I figured you'd be interested, and saw you were in the minutes. Anyone else?

Cheers,
Jo

    2. There is some Time Ontology work led by Simon Cox that could be full Rec track work. Also some other stuff on the horizon too (E.g. Buddhist technologists getting their calendars sorted).

There may be collaboration with ISO TC154/WG5 too.
