Dear Simon and all, I've checked the thors and gts ontologies, excellent work, thanks! As pointed out by Chris, some eras of my proposal don't have a concept of end, their use just goes in and out of style. This is the case for the Common Era, but also the Buddhist Era, the Tibetan Royal Years, etc. So I don't think my proposal of time:Era can be interpreted as a time:TemporalEntity, and thus not as a thors:Era... So I wouldn't change anything to my proposal. Unless perhaps you think it would be useful if my proposal also included concepts such as time:LeftBoundedInterval, time:RightBoundedInterval, time:UnboundedInterval and time:GeneralInterval? I'm definitely not the most qualified person on this list to make such a proposal as I don't know much about Allen temporal algebra... but I can give it a shot if it helps. What do you all think? Best, -- Elie
