Hi folks,

I'd like to draw your attention to a new publication by UK Geospatial Commission<https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/geospatial-commission/about> and the Geo6 partner bodies<https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/geospatial-commission/about#partner-bodies> - Search engine optimisation (SEO) for data publishers: Best practice guide<https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-guide-helps-find-and-classify-geospatial-datasets-across-search-engines>.

This short guide is intended to help data publishers improve the findability of their data through search engines.

This work was led by @Marianne Pope<mailto:Marianne.Pope@os.uk>, one of our Product Managers, and develops some of the findings from the initial Data Discoverability project<https://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/blog/2019/04/geospatial-commission-data-discoverability-making-geospatial-data-easier-to-find/> as part of a wider report covering recommendations to make it easier to find geospatial data, assess the relevance of geospatial data and increase access to geospatial data.

Best Regards,
Michael
