Dear Spatial Data on the Web members, As a result of the evolving and unpredictable situation surrounding coronavirus spread and consequent restrictions to global society, we have cancelled our in-person Maps for the Web Platform workshop, originally scheduled to take place in Montreal, June 15-17, 2020. We do plan to eventually hold a face-to-face workshop, when the situation permits participants to travel and participate in safety. In the mean time, work on maps for the Web continues, and we intend to hold an online workshop, in the late September to early October 2020 time-frame. For further details about the workshop, please consult our draft, in-development web site here: https://maps4html.org/Maps4HTML-Workshop-2020/ We intend to announce the workshop over various public channels when the call for positions and participation goes live, around May 2020. I will be sure to follow up with you here at that time. Please stay safe!
