April focus week - is anyone there?

Good afternoon SDW-IGgers ...

It’s day 4 of the April focus week, and things seem pretty quiet.

“Insight” on the SDW GitHub repo [1] shows:
- the PR fixing SWEET ontology references in the EOQB note (see issue
#1103) has been merged
- the PR fixing the incorrect coordinate order in the SDWBP note (see issue
#1108) has been merged - OGC Scott is currently looking to see if we can
republish the SDWBP with the minor “bug fix” (i.e. editorial,
non-substantive) change without needing a formal vote from OGC
- Linda has published some updates to the Spatial Data on the Web Roadmap
[2]
- there is still an outstanding PR for SSN/SOSA (see PR #1112) - which
looks like its been approved, but still awaits merge.

On the mailing list:
- Christine Perey asks [3] for a slot at the upcoming F2F to share insights
from the Augmented Reality hackathon. Thanks to Rob Smith for expressing
interest from a WebVMT perspective, and both Michael Gordon and Chris
Little for creating some links with OGC groups that might also be
interested.
- Lewis McGibbney shares [4] about the Geosemantics Symposium he’s
organising, which will take place in July alongside the ESIP2019 meeting in
Tacoma, WA, USA. Get in touch with Lewis if you're interested to find out
more.
- Rob Smith provided an update [5] on the WebVMT work (thank you!)
- Linda explained [6] about the updates she’s made to the SDW Roadmap and
explained that PROGRESS IS SLOW BECAUSE SHE’S STRUGGLING TO FIND TIME TO DO
IT ON HER OWN (sorry for shouting - but please help if you can).
Specifically, Linda asks for review of the updates and volunteers to
complete the ‘scorecards’ for OGC standards. Refer to her email for more
details.

Finally, I draw your attention to the ‘focus week - heads up’ email [7]
that Linda sent last week. Linda reminded us that the SDW-IG is only
chartered for until the end of 2019. Please review the plan for these final
9-months. Linda and I have had a crack at deciding what we should focus on
(based on progress and speed of work to date), but we need you input to
confirm that these are the right things for the group to focus on.

So - given that this is a focus week, if you can make progress on any of
the points raised above, or simply make some progress with your own
project/issue, please do!

Best regards, Jeremy
