SDW BP Glossary Issue 192: Geographic Information and GIS

1. "Geographic information (also geospatial data): Information concerning phenomena implicitly or explicitly associated with a location relative to the Earth."

This is exactly the ISO TC211 definition, but it comes from ISO 19101-1:2014 §4.1.18 not ISO-19101 §4.16.

2. "Geographic information system (GIS): An information system dealing with information concerning phenomena associated with location relative to the Earth."

This is exactly the ISO TC211 definition, but it comes from ISO 19101-1:2014 §4.1.20 not ISO-19101 §4.18. However, in English, I would prefer to have location in the plural, as it makes more sense and more straightforward. Has anyone seen a GIS that only handles one location?

Proposal: add "s", put link to ISO TC211 spreadsheet, and reference to ISO19101-1:2014, but suppressing the paragraph references which may change within two years.
