Status of OWL-Time

I see from the minutes [1] of yesterday's f2f in Delft that OWL-Time briefly made it onto the agenda

?  kerry: We had planned for a vote on OWL-Time. Not sure if we can do that today. Lots of changes made to OWL-Time and I haven't had time to look closely at them. If we don't have Simon or Chris, what should we do?

?  eparsons: Agree we cannot do much in their absence.
... My sense would be not to do it, and break earlier if we can.


As noted, work has continued. I've tried to keep the changelog up to date.

Since the last public working draft[2] the following significant changes have been made in the editors working draft [3]:


1.      Superclasses :TemporalPosition and :TemporalDuration added

2.      :TemporalUnit made a subclass of :TemporalDuration

3.      Class :MonthOfYear added, with individuals greg:January - greg:December in separate graph

4.      Example titles shortened

5.      Specialization by subclassing example removed

6.      general purpose predicates :activityTime :activityDuration :activityBeginning :activityEnd [in review - https://github.com/w3c/sdw/pull/630]

TODO -

1.      more work on the examples

2.      implementation evidence

a.      need to align my geologic timescale work

b.      need help tracking down other usage of OWL-Time
