RE: Reminder: review and support the Spatial Data on the Web Interest Group draft charter by end of this week

Hello SDW IG supporters,

 

There is an explicit threshold to pass (5% of the Membership). We’re almost there! A handful of additional expressions of support are still needed though. Since this is still summer and since some of you have not answered the call for review yet, the call for review has just been extended by a week, until 1 September 2017.

The current responses are available for w3c members at https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/33280/sdwig-2017/results. So far, there are 10 support the charter as is, 2 more that suggest some minor changes and 1 abstain. I don't know if there is an explicit threshold to pass but it is true that there is more and more pressure from the W3C members to start activity only when there is significant support from the membership.
