Members of this WG might be interested to see that the W3C Geolocation Working Group has just published its FPWD of the Geofencing API. See http://www.w3.org/TR/2015/WD-geofencing-20150604/ The relevant WG is meeting at TPAC this year although, sadly, at the same time as us (we can't both not meet at the same time as the Web of Things Interest Group!).
