Dear All,

I'm Jonathan Pritchard and work at the united kingdom hydrographic office
in Taunton, UK. We're a national mapping agency producing (and
distributing) nautical charts and publications as well as various forms of
digital charts and other datasets. I'm involved in the development of
standards within the International Hydrographic Organisation across the
board and I chair the IHO working group on security and data protection.
Our interest is in the development of harmonised standards for data
content, management and dissemination both over the web and in more
challenging envinroments (many commercial ships still use hard media for
data distribution) and marine poses some unique challenges in content...
